About Remy
Meet Remy, a resilient and affectionate sweetheart just waiting to be your loyal shadow and favorite snuggle buddy. At about 4 years old, this handsome Rottweiler mix weighs around 70 lbs. Found as a stray in Cleveland, Texas, his journey has taken him to Colorado where he’s enjoying life and ready for local meet and greets. Remy thrives on companionship. He loves walks, car rides, and cozy couch time. He’s fully house-trained and has excellent house manners, doing well with free roam when left alone. While he initially had some separation anxiety, he has made great strides in becoming comfortable with his routine. He gets along with other dogs, preferring female companions and calm males. Ideally, Remy needs a home with just one canine friend and a family that understands the importance of slow introductions. Given the right time and space to settle in, his goofy and loving nature truly shines. Though Remy is generally well-behaved, he can get excited before walks, occasionally pulling at first but settling quickly. He expresses joy with a cheerful little jump when he sees his favorite people. Ready to give a dog like Remy a second chance? He’s eager to share his love and adventures with the right person or family. Let this be your time to meet your new best friend!
