While she loves being social and gets along with other dogs, she appreciates companionship and shouldn’t be left alone for long periods. Jenga is making excellent progress with her training and is developing well in her foster home in Troy, IL.

About Jenga

Meet Jenga, a lovely Australian Shepherd who’s ready for her own happy ending. Rescued from an overcrowding situation, she had little human interaction but has blossomed since coming to the rescue. Now nearly 2 years old, Jenga is low-key and enjoys lounging by your side, often catching some Z's on the couch. She's starting to engage with toys and play fetch, though she usually prefers to take a back seat when playing with other dogs. Jenga is clever and has already mastered commands like “wait” and “come,” with “sit” and “shake” on the way. She's making great strides with potty training and is learning leash manners and crate time. To thrive, Jenga would benefit from an active home that offers plenty of adventures and a securely fenced backyard to explore. She loves the company of other friendly dogs but is also fine being the only dog, provided she has people around. Jenga is currently being fostered in the St. Louis area, where she's ready for her next chapter. Make this sweet girl part of your family today!
