About Nixie
Nixie is a delightful Australian shepherd mix who can’t help but shine with her charming personality. Whether it’s exploring the yard or playing with her beloved toys, she showcases her love for adventure. Nixie is the kind of puppy who enjoys both action-packed bursts and relaxed moments cuddling with her favorite humans. At just 3 months old, she is learning to respond to hand signals, especially since she is deaf. Nixie is working hard on her 'come' and 'sit,' motivated mainly by treats. Crate training and potty training are in progress, but she’d thrive best in a home where someone can spend time teaching her all the important skills she’ll need. A significant plus is her friendly nature, which means she'd love a companion dog to play with, although she’s perfectly content as the solo pup. A secure, fenced yard would be ideal for Nixie to explore and play safely. This affectionate girl is currently in foster care in the St. Louis area and can’t wait to find her forever home.
