About Kane

Your new best friend is just one click away. Kane and Audrey were part of a litter of seven six-week-old puppies brought into an overburdened rural shelter. Their mother had been tragically lost, leaving the pups orphaned, emaciated, and fighting for survival. Against the odds and thanks to loving care, only Kane and Audrey survived. These siblings are true fighters, bouncing back from severe flea and worm infestations and recovering from sarcoptic mange—now, they're both ready to begin wonderful new lives. A DNA test reveals Kane is mostly Australian shepherd and husky mix, giving him his special blend of sweetness, intelligence, and energy. He loves to play, run, and enjoys every moment spent with toys. Kane has a more timid disposition compared to his sister, preferring to snuggle close and find comfort in cuddles, as the world can feel a little overwhelming to him. Meanwhile, Audrey, his sister, is braver and more outgoing, making friends with every male dog she meets. Both are looking for their own forever homes (they will not be adopted together) and are currently being fostered in the St. Louis area. Fun fact: Kane is a Sagittarius, so you can expect an adventurous spirit once he gains confidence. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
