About Scooter

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Scooter, a happy and sweet senior Australian Shepherd looking for his forever family. Even though he's estimated to be between 10 and 14 years old, Scooter is still full of spunk and enjoys a good game of fetch, although returning the ball is not always his first priority! He thrives on playtime but also delights in relaxing and soaking up the calm moments. Scooter is a perfect house guest—he doesn’t chew or get into anything he shouldn’t. He’s completely house trained but appreciates plenty of breaks outside. He gets along seamlessly with his canine foster sibling and absolutely adores meeting new people. This friendly fellow would be happiest in a home where someone is home most of the time, as he loves being near his person. A physical fenced yard would be ideal for his outdoor enjoyment, and while he’d do well with another dog, he’s perfectly happy to be the only pup too. Plus, Scooter is fostered in the St. Louis area for easy meet-and-greets. Fun fact: With a birthday in mid-April, Scooter is an Aries—a true enthusiast for adventure! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
