About Ellie Jane
Ellie Jane is an Australian shepherd right in her prime at around 3 years old, currently fostered in the St. Louis area. She takes care of business outside and is fully house trained, reliable in the house, easy in her crate, and handles the leash well. Her bursts of energy during play never last long—she settles quickly and makes a great companion whether you’re out on a walk or at home. She adores being brushed and snuggled, and has a soft spot for her favorite plush toy, which she often curls up with. Though she has some vision impairment, Ellie Jane navigates life with confidence. She responds to hand signals, isn’t held back from having fun, and already knows several commands including sit, down, come, and kennel. She enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, but she's happiest as the star of the show in her own home. Ellie Jane would thrive in an active household where she’s the focus and would love the security of a fenced yard. Fun fact—her birthday makes her a Gemini, so you can expect a playful, loyal, and smart companion. Ready to welcome her home? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
