Thor
AvailableThor is a male Labrador Retriever/Cane Corso mix with a large build, currently in Fort Wayne, IN. He is neutered, house trained, and up to date on vaccinations. Thor thrives in a home where his affectionate nature is welcome and his playful energy has room to shine.
About Thor
Thor is a big, lovable sweetheart who genuinely believes he's a lapdog. He thrives on affection and is always ready to dole out kisses at the end of a long day. Training has gotten off to a solid start: Thor is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he already responds to basic commands like sit, down, and shake. He picks things up quickly and responds well when given consistent structure. Thor gets along great with other dogs, enjoys playtime, and looks forward to his daily walks. Like a lot of young large dogs, he’s still learning how not to pull on leash—a little patience and routine will go a long way. Because of his size and enthusiastic, puppy-like energy, Thor will do best in a family with kids over 10. When bringing any foster dog home, especially one that’s new to their environment, supervision outdoors—even in fenced yards—is important for their safety and comfort. Questions about Thor

Thor is a mix of Labrador Retriever and Cane Corso, both breeds that appreciate a home with space to roam and a family to keep them engaged. He'll be happiest in a place where he can interact with people and have regular exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A fenced yard or access to frequent walks would help Thor burn off energy. As a large, active mix, he enjoys time outside to play and explore with his people.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Thor's breeds can do well with children when supervised and taught good manners. Because of his size and exuberant nature, families with older kids—like those over 10—are a good fit for him.
