About Moose
Moose is a 1-year-old hound/Labrador mix with an easy smile, a goofy, lovable spirit, and a truly gentle nature. Weighing in at around 45 pounds, he’s lean and lanky—an uncoordinated class clown with a knack for making every day lighter. He gets along famously with everyone: children, other dogs, cats, even farm animals, greeting all with a wag and a sense of fun. Moose is happiest out on car rides, walks, or venturing down trails, and he’s equally content snuggling for a movie night. In dog playgroups, he’s the life of the party, engaging joyfully with canine pals of all sizes. He’s house and crate trained, does well on leash, and is learning his basic commands and recall. Moose fits best with a fenced yard and an active household—ideally with other playful dogs and respectful, pet-savvy kids. He’s affectionate, patient, and full of adventure but settles in for a cuddle like it’s his job. Moose has no sense of personal space and will claim your lap or your heart in equal measure. Born under the practical and grounded Capricorn sun, Moose might surprise you with his blend of work ethic and goofball charm. This is a dog who’s just waiting for his next adventure—and his new person. Start your journey together! Apply now.
