AvailableAbout Violet
Meet Violet! She is a pleasant, respectful, calm, mellow, sweet, and independent companion. We can't help but love her and her perfect personality. She's not a barker and has a quiet, reserved demeanor that makes her an ideal companion. Violet lives life simply and is very food-motivated, yet she is patient. Remarkably, she has been fully retired since birth!? Violet is wonderfully easygoing. She goes with the flow and has zero expectations, finding joy in whatever comes her way. With medium-low energy, she is happy with the little things. She can coexist with just about anyone and has no requirements beyond the basics. Simply put, she is just happy to be. Happy to be alive, with food in her belly, and a place to call home while she patiently waits for a forever home. Violet enjoys car rides, simple walks, hanging out, and time spent in a fenced-in backyard. She loves to smell and explore her surroundings and appreciates visits and companionship. She is easy to please and gets along well with all dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even farm animals. Nothing ever fazes her! Violet is just perfect. Violet is house and crate trained, not destructive. Loves food, being petted, and being part of a pack. Violet is best with another dog in the home because she enjoys snuggles. A physical fence is best. Simple walks would be ideal. **All Adoptions Include:** - Spayed/Neutered - Rabies Vaccination (1 or 3 years) - All Age-Appropriate Core Vaccinations (including Lepto & Corona, 1 or 3 years) - Heartworm-tested (Negative) - Monthly Heartworm, Flea, and Tick Prevention - Lyme Disease Tested (Negative) - Dewormed and faecal tested (Negative) - All testing completed within 6-12 months - All age-appropriate care (blood work, dental care, testing, and medications) - Lifetime Microchip Registration with free unlimited updates - Quality protein diet **Adoption Processing:** - The adoption application review can take up to 2 weeks. - A minimum of one meet-and-greet is required before adoption. - A home check - Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their expense. - We do NOT ship any adoptable pets. - Adoption fees are due at the time of adoption. - No exchanges or requests for money are required before adoption. - No payment plans available. **For AHRS Former Adopters:** - No adoption fee is required; a donation of your choice is expected, encouraged, welcome, and appreciated.
