About Lucas
Meet Lucas, a 12-month-old beagle/lab/hound mix bursting with friendliness and easygoing charm. Smart and eager from day one, Lucas was fully potty trained as a tiny pup and quickly picked up leash and off-leash manners—he’s quick on the uptake with pretty much everything. He’s a classic pack dog who thrives in the company of playful dogs, but humans are the center of his world. Lucas gets along with all sizes of dogs, is gentle with children of any age, and has a respectful demeanor around cats, rabbits, birds, and even farm animals. Lucas brings the best of both worlds: affectionate and cuddly when things are quiet but always up for walks, goofy play, or whatever adventure you throw his way. His temperament is steady—observant, patient, and cheerful. He follows his people’s lead, makes training look easy, and is content just sharing space or lounging with the pack. Lucas is fully house and crate trained, ready to slot into a home where active, engaged folks will keep socializing and guiding him. A fenced yard and dog companions are a must for Lucas, along with an outgoing family who loves to keep moving. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who fits in everywhere and gives as much love as he gets, Lucas might be your guy. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
