About Finn

Meet Finn — The Self-Care King Finn firmly believes life is all about balance. A little playtime, a good meal, some sibling chaos... and then immediately back to bed for a well-earned nap. While his brothers and sisters may still be running laps around the room, Finn is usually curled up in a hammock somewhere, peacefully recharging and wondering why everyone else is doing the most. Finn's story began last fall when his mama, Betha, appeared on the porch of a kind family in McCarley, Mississippi. Over time, they realized she was pregnant and searching for a safe place to raise her babies. After Betha gave birth to six kittens — Patrick, Ronan, Finn, Brianna, Erin, and Dana — the family reached out for help, and Operation Colony Cats stepped in to bring everyone safely into foster care. Growing up together, each kitten found their own role in the family. Patrick became the calm and steady big brother, Ronan embraced adventure, Brianna turned into the confident social butterfly, Erin became the fearless athlete, and Dana perfected the art of mischievous investigation. Finn, meanwhile, mastered the fine art of relaxation. Don't let his laid-back personality fool you, though — Finn still loves to play and wrestle with his siblings when the mood strikes. He's sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing, with the kind of calm presence that makes a house feel cozy. He would thrive in a home looking for a playful kitten who also fully supports the importance of daily naps and quality lounge time. If your ideal companion is equal parts adorable, mellow, and quietly hilarious, Finn is ready to settle into your heart — preferably from the comfort of a hammock. Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
