About Patrick

Meet Patrick — The Gentle Big Brother Patrick is the kind of kitten who makes everything feel a little calmer. As the eldest of Betha's six kittens, he naturally stepped into the role of steady, gentle big brother. While his siblings are busy causing chaos, Patrick is usually right in the middle of things — playing, cuddling, and keeping the peace without ever being too rough or over-the-top. Patrick's story began last fall when his beautiful mama, Betha, appeared on the porch of a kind family in McCarley, Mississippi. Over time, they realized she was pregnant and simply trying to survive while searching for a safe place to raise her babies. After Betha gave birth to Patrick, Ronan, Finn, Brianna, Erin, and Dana, the family reached out for help, and Operation Colony Cats stepped in to bring everyone safely into foster care. Growing up together, each kitten developed their own personality. Ronan became the adventurous explorer, Finn perfected the art of relaxation, Brianna embraced her bold and social side, Erin transformed into the fearless athlete, and Dana became the clever little mischief-maker. Patrick, though, has always been the dependable one — sweet, steady, and endlessly gentle with everyone around him. He's playful without being wild, affectionate without being demanding, and has the kind of easygoing personality that fits beautifully into almost any home. Patrick enjoys attention, gets along wonderfully with his siblings, and has a soft, comforting presence that makes people fall for him quickly. If you're looking for a kitten with a calm heart, a playful spirit, and the sweetest soul, Patrick may be your perfect match. Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
