About Ronan

Meet Ronan — The Adventurer If there's a cabinet left slightly open, a new toy to investigate, or a high perch waiting to be conquered, Ronan will absolutely be the first one there. Curious, playful, and full of personality, Ronan approaches every day like it's a brand-new adventure just waiting to happen. Ronan's journey began last fall when his mama, Betha, appeared on the porch of a kind family in McCarley, Mississippi. Over time, they realized she was pregnant and simply looking for a safe place to raise her babies. After Betha gave birth to six kittens — Patrick, Ronan, Finn, Brianna, Erin, and Dana — the family reached out for help, and Operation Colony Cats stepped in to bring everyone safely into foster care. As the kittens grew, each developed their own unique personality. Patrick became the calm and gentle big brother, Finn mastered the art of self-care and naps, Brianna embraced her bold social side, Erin turned into the fearless fun-seeker, and Dana perfected her role as clever little troublemaker. Ronan, meanwhile, made it his personal mission to explore absolutely everything. He loves climbing, investigating new spaces, and joining in on every bit of kitten chaos he can find. He's confident, social, and always ready to turn an ordinary afternoon into an exciting expedition. And while he may keep busy, Ronan is still a sweet and affectionate boy who enjoys attention and being part of the action with his people. If you're looking for a playful, outgoing kitten with endless curiosity and a big personality, Ronan is ready to lead the adventure straight into your heart. Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
