About Sadie

Fostered in McFarland, WI. “Sadie” – Snuggly, Spunky Aussie mix Born February 5th, Sadie is the total package: cuddly, playful, and full of personality! She's the kind of puppy who will curl up in your lap one minute and bounce around with a toy the next. Why You'll Love Sadie: Champion snuggler—loves to be close Playful, curious, and full of happy puppy energy Gets along great with other dogs (learning to play with all sizes!) Confident and doing amazing with new experiences—no extensive fear, just curiosity Has the cutest little play growl you'll ever hear Not shy about using her voice when she has opinions Good to Know: Cat tested. Has met young children, but isn't being fosterd with young children. Gentle nature—just doesn't love rough play from rowdy siblings Like all puppies, she'll need continued training, structure, and patience, she is improving every day with potty training Sadie is a sweet, expressive girl who's already showing how adaptable and loving she is. She's looking for a home that will continue guiding her as she grows—and in return, she'll give you endless affection (and plenty of snuggles). NOTE: Their mom, Paoli, came into rescue as a stray while pregnant, so we aren't exactly sure what the puppies are mixed with. What we do know is they are absolutely adorable and already showing sweet, playful personalities. Even at this young age, these puppies are starting early socialization and gaining confidence as they explore the world around them. They are being exposed to normal household activity and human interaction to help set them up for success in their future homes. We believe dad was something smaller, because at this age, they are much smaller than their momma and a typical standard Aussie at this age. We believe full grown they will be between 30-50lbs. Because they are young puppies, they will need families who are committed to continuing their development. This includes: Ongoing socialization Positive training Potty training Plenty of exercise and mental stimulation Ready to meet your new best friend? Sadie is waiting! Sadie is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and mircohipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org. NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org
