About Breeze

Breeze is a muted red tri Mini American Shepherd currently being fostered near Ringwood, IL. At about a year and a half old and between 16-18lbs, Breeze is a sweet but timid boy still learning how to be comfortable in a home. His past left him uncertainโ€”he came from a hoarding situation, and it took him time to come out of his shell. Now, in his foster home, he's made real progress. Breeze is looking for adopters who understand shy dogs and will give him space and encouragement to continue growing more confident. Breeze absolutely needs a confident resident dog in the home who can guide him and help him thrive. He does best with other dogs and also gets along with cats. He is both house and crate trained, seeing his crate as a safe haven. Breeze is looking for a quieter home, ideally with patient humans experienced enough to move at his pace. A securely fenced yard is a must, and while he prefers women, heโ€™s slowly warming up to men as well. He gives the best little hugs once he trusts you. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and receives monthly preventatives. He will need an adopter ready to keep up with his heartworm prevention and maintain a safe, understanding environment. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
