About Hermann

Meet Herman (or Hermie, as his friends call him), a 2.5-year-old blonde Lab mix full of playful energy and genuine love for life. Weighing about 50 pounds, Herman is athletic and always up for a good run outdoors. He could play fetch for hours without slowing down, and his curiosity means his nose is constantly working overtime. Herman is also a big fan of car rides – if there's an adventure, he'll be the first to jump in. At home, he knows how to wind down and enjoy a cuddle. He's quick to settle in beside you for some pets but does have a knack for ripping up toys, so stock up on those. Chew bones and a spot on the bed next to his person are high on his favorites list. Herman needs someone who’s home most of the time – he has a small bladder and can’t stay in his kennel too long, and you'll want to monitor his water intake before crating him. He needs continued training to keep his exuberance in check, especially since he can get jumpy and loves to explore. For now, older children are a better fit due to his energy. Herman gets along well with all kinds of dogs and would thrive in an active home with lots of toys and space for running. He is just waiting for someone ready for a loving, fun companion like him. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
