Hi there! My name is Herman aka Hermie, and I’m a 2.5-year-old blonde lab mix. I weigh about 50 pounds, which is pretty good for a big, strong boy like me! I just love, love, love everything. My favorite thing in the whole world is being outside. I could run and run forever! And fetch? Oh boy, fetch is the best! You throw it, I bring it back, you throw it again. We could do that all day, and I wouldn’t get tired! My nose is always twitching because I’m so curious about everything. And car rides? Buckle up, because I'm ready for an adventure! Even though I have tons of energy and love to jump around, I also really enjoy a good cuddle. Curling up next to you and getting all the pets is just the best. I’m pretty good at destroying my toys, though. I also like a nice chew bone and sleeping with my favorite person, if you’re okay with that. I need a special kind of person, though. Someone who is home a lot is super important because I have a small bladder and can't be in my kennel for too long. They’ll also need to keep an eye on how much water I drink before I go in there. I also need to go to training classes because I get a little too excited and like to jump a lot. And, well, I tend to explore the house and sometimes find interesting things to… *redecorate*. That’s why I have to stay in my kennel when no one is supervising. Older kids are best for me because I can get a little jumpy. But other doggies? All breeds, all sizes – I love them all! I’m just a happy, loving boy looking for my forever home where there’s lots of love and maybe a few extra toys to shred.
