About Goldie

Goldie is a six-month-old yellow Labrador with a sturdy build and endless puppy energy. She’s wild about treats and can spend ages chasing butterflies or playing tug in the yard. Goldie will eagerly chase after anything fun, but she especially loves her flirt pole, which makes for some hilarious zoomies. She learns quickly—Goldie already sits on command and is working on several other basic cues. Leash skills are improving, and she now auto-sits when walks pause. New situations don’t rattle her for long; after a skeptical introduction to vacuums and lawn mowers, she quickly decided there was nothing to fear. Goldie gets along with other dogs and enjoys the company of kids, though because she’s still growing into her manners, a family with older children or dog-savvy adults fits best. She cannot go to a home with cats, as the temptation to chase is too strong. An active adopter willing to continue her training and provide plenty of playtime would help her thrive. She’s primed for adventure and ready to learn for the right family! Click apply to start the adoption process.
