About Winnie

Winnie is a chocolate Labrador weighing about seventy-five pounds, and her early years were spent raising puppies. Lately, she's getting a taste of what safety and happiness really mean. She lights up during fetch—toss a ball and she’ll sprint after it nonstop. Afterward, she’s content chewing on a bully stick or antler, but nothing trumps her love of food (and no resource guarding here). Winnie lives with a cat and is sometimes tempted to play-chase, yet generally gets along, and she absolutely adores her dog buddy. Sharing the bed with her people and dog pal at night has become a favorite comfort. Winnie rides well in the car and enjoys walks, though she’s still learning not to pull—especially when squirrels appear. She’s an affectionate shadow, sticking close to her humans, and has shown interest in children, though her high energy and habit of jumping mean she’s better suited to families without very young kids until she can master her excitement. She’s quick to learn, loves to run, and would thrive with a fenced yard and ideally another dog for company. After everything, Winnie’s treasuring this second chance and just wants a loving home that can keep up with her zest for play, companionship, and new adventures. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
