About Boulder
Boulder is a 1.5-year-old black Labrador Retriever built for fun and action. Heās all about toysāno squeaker, rope, or tug challenge stands a chance when Boulderās around. If he has a canine friend to roughhouse with, even better. His foster home has a big fenced yard, and Boulder makes full use of it, zooming at top speed and collecting whatever strikes his fancy: ice chunks, rocks, you name it. Sometimes those treasures come inside, too. At night, Boulder settles calmly into his crate, happy after a big day of play. Heās working on his housebreaking cues and gets better every week, though heās still figuring out how to ask to go outside. Boulder can be shy meeting new peopleāstrangers are still intimidatingābut his confidence grows with routine, canine companionship, and time. He would thrive in a home with a large yard, another playful dog or two, and adults or older kids who understand his energy level. No tiny kids and no minimal outside space for this guy, but give him a running buddy and a stack of toys, and heāll be in Labrador heaven. And donāt forget those belly rubs. What are you waiting for?
