About Blaze

Blaze, a one-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix, is looking for a new home near Cloverdale, CA. At around 62 lbs, Blaze has a friendly, playful, and curious personality. He’s eager to meet new people and especially enjoys time around young children – his current family says he’s done well with their grandkids. Blaze gets along well with other dogs, including smaller breeds like Yorkies. He’s always up for a game with a squeaky toy, loves car rides, and appreciates being able to run around and burn off energy. Currently, Blaze spends his time outside but has access to an indoor, enclosed area where he sleeps at night. He’s reliably housetrained and doesn’t relieve himself indoors. Blaze hasn’t had much leash experience, as his daily routine lets him roam a fenced property – he’ll need a bit of guidance if you want to walk him in more public spaces. He hasn’t lived with cats and should go to a cat-free home. Blaze is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s available for adoption solo or with his sister Sadie, and it would be nice if they found a home together, but it’s not required. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
