About Lupin
Lupin is a three-year-old, medium-sized, neutered male German Shepherd/Husky mix weighing around 50 lbs. He’s healthy, up-to-date on core vaccinations, and microchipped. Lupin thrives on interaction—he’s energetic, loves playtime, and especially enjoys brain-challenging toys, tug-of-war, and fetch. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, both at home and out in the world, and is particularly gentle with young children. He currently shares his space with his Husky brother, Koda, and gets along well with other dogs, though his experience with small dogs is limited. Lupin hasn’t lived with cats, so a cat-free home is preferred. He’s fully house trained, sleeps in the bedroom at night, and is comfortable in a kennel during the day—though long hours alone aren’t ideal for him. On walks, he tends to pull with excitement at first but calms down quickly. Lupin also loves traveling by car and quickly settles during rides, often with his head out the window. Because his guardian is facing an overseas deployment, Lupin needs a new home. The adoption fee is $100, and he is currently near Fairfield, CA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
