About Lupin

Think you are the one? Submit an application! Lupin is an approximately 50-pound, 3-year-old neutered male German Shepherd/Husky mix with a medium coat who radiates love, energy, and playfulness. He’s healthy, microchipped, and up-to-date on core vaccinations. Lupin is eager to greet everyone he meets, charming both guests and family with his friendly, outgoing personality inside and outside the home. He is wonderful with young children and delights in playful interaction. Lupin absolutely loves the company of other dogs—he lives harmoniously with his brother Koda and is always up for a play session. His ideal home would not have cats, as he has not been around them. Fully housetrained, Lupin currently stays in a kennel when his guardians are away and spends his nights sleeping peacefully in the bedroom. When it’s time for a walk, he starts off pulling on leash out of pure enthusiasm but quickly settles. He’s excitable around other dogs but easily redirected and never aggressive. Always up for an adventure, Lupin enjoys car rides, relishing those first excited minutes before settling down to enjoy the journey, especially when he can stick his head out the window. He loves to play fetch, tug-of-war, and is especially fond of engaging with brain-challenging toys and tennis balls. Due to an upcoming overseas deployment and long hours away from home, his loving family is seeking a new home where Lupin can thrive and receive more daily engagement and companionship. Lupin is located on Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
