About Bruno

Bruno is a loyal, loving, and smart German Shepherd Dog who thrives when he's near his people. At about 8 and a half years old and weighing around 65 pounds, he's looking for a home where he won’t spend long stretches alone. Bruno is healthy, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He loves to be part of the action, whether it’s getting attention from his humans or simply relaxing nearby. Bruno greets strangers with a friendly, eager attitude—both at home (once introduced) and out in the world. With young children, he is gentle and sweet. He’s social and playful with other dogs, sometimes a bit enthusiastic but never aggressive. He’s even gentle with small dogs. An added bonus: Bruno has lived with cats and treats them affectionately, happy to engage or just keep them company. Fully house trained and fine being left alone for a few hours, Bruno often sleeps on his bed or with one of the kids. He walks well on leash and is non-reactive around other dogs, showing more interest in play than in confrontation. Bruno enjoys car rides, is calm in the car, and also likes swimming. While not fixated on toys, he still enjoys a good play session. Bruno was adopted as a young puppy and has always been a valued part of his family. Recently, his need for more daily human companionship and a dynamic routine outgrew what his busy family could provide. Bruno would do best in a home where his desire to be engaged and included will be fulfilled every day. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
