About Bruno

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Bruno is an 8½-year-old neutered male German Shepherd Dog who embodies loyalty, affection, and intelligence. He forms strong bonds with his family, and nothing makes him happier than being included in family activities, whether that's soaking up attention or relaxing nearby. Bruno is in excellent health, vaccinated, and microchipped. Upon meeting new people, Bruno is friendly and welcoming, both at home and out and about. When it comes to children, he is wonderfully gentle and sweet, making him a fantastic companion for young family members. His friendly spirit also extends to other dogs—he enjoys playtime, sometimes getting a bit vocal from excitement, but he remains non-aggressive and shows respect, even toward smaller dogs. One of Bruno’s special attributes is his affectionate nature with cats. Having lived with cats before, he is known to be very gentle and even loving, sometimes giving them a lick or a gentle play. Bruno is fully house trained and comfortable being left alone for several hours at a time, often choosing to sleep on his own bed or alongside one of the family's teenagers. Despite never undergoing formal obedience training, Bruno’s behavior is impressive. He walks beautifully on a leash and is non-reactive toward other dogs, though he is always ready for a friendly meet-and-greet. Off-leash, his experience is limited to safe, confined areas. He’s easygoing in vehicles and enjoys swimming and water play, even if he isn’t particularly obsessed with toys. Bruno was adopted as a puppy and has always been a valued family member. However, with his current family's lifestyle, he often spends long hours alone and thrives best with more human interaction and day-to-day engagement. His loving family hopes to find a home that can give Bruno the companionship and enrichment he craves and deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
