Naomi is friendly with people, including children. She is good with other dogs as well as cats. Cathy found Naomi abandoned in a park in Stockton back in May 2024. She kept Naomi as she fit in with her other three female rescued dogs. Naomi and Cathy’s terrier-chihuahua mix Ginger played and slept together. Before Naomi came, Ginger played and slept with one of Cathy’s other rescue dogs, Dinah. Recently, Dinah apparently became jealous and started snapping at Ginger; after that, Naomi started going after Dinah to protect Ginger. Because Dinah was already established in Cathy’s home, Cathy is now seeking a new home for Naomi.
