AvailableAbout Poppy In Ct
Meet Poppy, a sweet and snuggly Great Pyrenees puppy who is ready to find her forever family! This gentle little girl is full of baby energy and just loves to play, explore, and - best of all - cuddle up with the people she loves. Poppy is crate trained and doing a wonderful job learning to walk on leash - she's gaining confidence every single day and enjoying her walks more and more! Poppy is a social butterfly who warmly welcomes everyone she meets. She is wonderful with kids, gets along beautifully with dogs of all ages and sizes, and has met cats too - she just wants to be friends with everyone! She is a curious and loving soul who is blossoming as she settles into her environment and learns to trust. One of her most special qualities is how much she loves to be held and snuggled - this girl has a heart full of love to give! She's happy both indoors and outside, and Poppy would thrive in a calm, quiet home on a peaceful street, with a securely fenced yard of at least 5 feet. She would especially love a home with a canine brother to pal around with and learn from - a confident furry mentor would be just perfect for her! If you're looking for a gentle, loving, and curious pup who will shower you with snuggles, Poppy just might be your girl! HTTPS://NATIONALPYR.ORG/ADOPTION-APPLICATION/ Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
