About Betty In Tn
Betty, lovingly called our "Pocket Pyr," packs all the classic Great Pyrenees charm into a smaller, more manageable size. She was originally meant to guard livestock, but quickly decided her real passion was being close to people—she’s a cuddler, not a sentry. In boarding now and hoping for her foster or forever family, Betty’s relaxed, polite, and deeply devoted to her humans. She greets newcomers with gentle enthusiasm, never jumping or overwhelming anyone. Betty does well with dogs big or small and shows comfortable curiosity around outdoor cats. Her energy level is moderate: she enjoys lounging but can turn on the play when the mood strikes. She’s leash trained, loves car rides, and politely waits for treats. Given her past as an escape artist, however, a secure six-foot fence is a non-negotiable. She’d likely thrive with teens or older, and she’d be happy as the only dog or with canine friends. Betty is gently affectionate, good-natured, and happiest when surrounded by people. If you want a compact, low-key companion with big heart, Betty might be the perfect fit. What are you waiting for?
