About Donnie & Marie In
Donnie and Marie are a bonded mother-son duo of Great Pyrenees who need to be adopted together, as their connection is at the heart of their personalities. Originally rescued in Alabama after being found chained up, they have become affectionate, gentle companions with playful sides and solid house manners. Both dogs are housebroken, leash and crate trained, and making progress with their basic commands. They’re eager to please and flourish with a moderate activity level. Social Donnie enjoys meeting new faces, while Marie tends to be more reserved before warming up. The pair do well with other dogs, respect cats, and have no issues with chickens. They rarely bark, don’t dig, and adapt easily to indoor and outdoor living—though a secure fence (at least 4 feet tall) is a must for their safety. Donnie and Marie thrive on treats, affection, and adventures, and also love laid-back moments relaxing in the sun or cooling off indoors. They’re great with children and can fit in comfortably with a family or individual. Their gentle, sweet nature shines through during both their energetic and quieter moments. Donnie and Marie are ready for a home that will keep them together and appreciate their loving bond. They’ll do best with someone willing to provide patient guidance and a safe, fenced-in yard. This pair would bring warmth, devotion, and plenty of love to their new family. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
