Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Chipper, also known as Chippy, a handsome little Chihuahua mix. He’s approximately 12 years old and weighs 10 pounds. Chippy has had a hard and sad start in life, but this boy has been a little trooper, with love and understanding he has conquered most of his fears and is now a happy boy. He gets along with all his siblings, although he doesn’t play with them much. He loves his squeaky toys much better. He is so happy when his foster parents come home he does a little happy dance. He is friendly to visitors, but due to his past, sometimes he needs a slower interaction. If he makes a growling face, he’s saying, I’m uncomfortable. He’s asking for a little space so walk away and he’s fine. He needs that respect. Chippy loves to go on walks, he is fully house trained, and he rides quietly in the car. He sleeps quietly all night in his big cozy bed. Chippy is a happy and quiet boy; he loves to sit next to you and watch TV and get pets and love. He’s beginning to realize that life is good and gets bouncy and happy to be there with you. He’s an absolutely adorable little guy. Just look at that face! Chippy needs an all-adult home with experience with Chihuahua-type dogs to live his best life. He’s waiting for his forever home and really would love to meet you.
