Salome' spent too long isolated on a back porch, with barely any attention or affection—no walks, just waiting. A kind neighbor stepped in, gave her some company, and eventually persuaded the owner to surrender her. Now, at about 3.5 years old and likely a terrier/chihuahua mix, Salome' has come out of her shell. She started out shy, but after a day, transformed into a loving companion who craves closeness and isn’t shy with kisses. She settles well after play, curling up beside you with a chew bone. Salome' enjoys walks and is easy on the leash, and she seems housebroken. Toys are new territory for her, but she likes chewies. She’s dog friendly, gets along well with other pups, and so far has been very quiet—even around wildlife and other dogs. A fenced yard is a must, as she has a lot of built-up energy and loves her zoomies. An adult-only home fits her best, especially one in Central Florida/Orlando.
