About Clint

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Clint is a small chihuahua mix who has blossomed beautifully since his arrival at the rescue. Approximately 6 1/2 years old and weighing just 13 1/2 pounds, Clint was initially timid, but thanks to patient structure and consistent training, he's come out of his shell and is thriving. Clint is crate trained, walks well on leash (though he can still be a bit cautious at times), and is absolutely obsessed with toys—fetch is his favorite game! His fondness for food makes training both enjoyable and effective. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those his size or smaller, and would thrive in a home willing to continue building his confidence and keep up the guidance that's helped him come so far. Clint is now ready for a loving family, ideally one with a similarly sized playmate. If you're in the Central Florida/Orlando area and can offer the home Clint deserves, he's eager to meet you for his next chapter. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Clint

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Chihuahuas typically thrive in both apartments and homes, as their small size makes them adaptable to various living situations. They enjoy a cozy, warm environment and appreciate being close to their people.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Chihuahuas do not require a large yard; short walks and some playtime will usually satisfy their exercise needs. They can get much of their activity indoors but do benefit from daily outdoor outings.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Chihuahuas can do well with gentle, respectful children, but due to their small size and fragility, supervision is recommended. They may be better suited for older children who understand how to interact appropriately with small dogs.
