Rebel is a darling little medium energy Chihuahua mix. He is around 2 years old and currently weighs 8 lbs. Rebel is sweet, friendly and playful. He likes romping around with other similar sized dogs and playing chase. He enjoys toys and has discovered that chasing a ball is lots of fun. He likes bully sticks and other chewy bones and treats. Rebel becomes attached to his people and will happily follow them around the house and yard for most of the day. In the evenings he enjoys couch and lap time. He would not be happy being left home alone daily for long hours. Rebel is crate trained but does not love his crate and prefers to be with his people. He is doing well with house training in his foster home. He is learning to walk politely on a leash and enjoys walks. He currently lives with dogs of various sizes and gets along well with them. He also lives with dog savvy cats and is friendly with them although he might challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Young children would likely overwhelm him so only dog savvy kids over 10 are recommended. He loves having a yard to explore and play in and is an alert barker so no apartments for him. Rebel would likely do well in a home with a person who is home most of the day. Someone who will include him in daily activities would be ideal. He enjoys other small, friendly dogs as buddies but also would enjoy being the only dog who gets all his human’s attention.
