About Donner!
Donner! is a small, sweet Chihuahua mix who recently found safety and is looking for a stable forever home. He's a young, shy, and submissive boy, weighing about 10lbs, who thrives when he has another friendly, playful dog for company. After growing up with his siblings, Donner! seeks out dog companionship and does best in homes with a secure fenced yard where he can run and play. He would do best with kids over the age of 12 and needs an adopter who understands puppy energy and patience. Donner! loves to snuggle after playtime and gravitates toward people he trusts. He is making progress with his potty training but still relies on frequent trips outside as he hasn't quite mastered asking to go out. Like most puppies, Donner! is at the height of his chewing phase, so he needs supervision and plenty of appropriate toys. He's a bit nervous on leash and in unfamiliar situations, so gentle socialization and some basic training will help him gain confidence. While Donner! gets along well with other dogs and cats, he can get a bit possessive with food, toys, and sleeping spots, so he'll need consistency and training in these areas. When it's time to relax, he'll happily curl up for a cuddle. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
