Petrie is a darling little chihuahua mix puppy. He was born around 4/24/2025 and is currently 8 lbs. Petrie is sweet, playful and smart. He likes romping around the house and yard playing chase with his dog buddies. He loves stuffed toys and will happily empty the toy box and make a pile of his favorite toys. He enjoys bully sticks and other chewy bones. Petrie currently lives with friendly dogs of various sizes and he does well with them. He also lives with dog savvy cats and is respectful with them but he might chase shy kitties and chase if they run. Young children would likely overwhelm him so only dog savvy, respectful kids over 12 are recommended. He loves a yard and is an alert barker so no apartments for him. Petrie can be shy with new people but has shown he can warm up with slow, gentle introductions and treats. He can be intimidated by overly dominant dogs and would likely not be happy living with one. Petrie is crate trained, doing well with house training and learning to walk politely on a leash. Petrie would likely do well with a person who has the time, patience and willingness to help him adjust and feel comfortable in a new home. He would like to have someone who is home the majority of the time or at least not gone for long hours daily. He enjoys other dogs and would like a friendly dog companion to romp around with, help show him the ropes and keep him company while his humans are away from home. Petrie is a sweet little dog who will keep you laughing with his silly antics. He is patiently waiting for his forever family.
