About Vixen!
Vixen! is a sweet, small mixed-breed Chihuahua/Dachshund who was recently rescued and is now looking for her forever family. She weighs about 10 lbs and thrives with another playful, friendly dog for company—she’s used to having her siblings nearby and truly gravitates toward dog companionship. Her ideal home includes a secure fenced yard where she can freely zoom and play, and kids over five years old. Vixen is mostly potty trained but still learning the ropes; she needs regular potty breaks and is starting to head to the door when she needs to go out. At night, she sleeps comfortably in a crate for about eight hours and can be crated for up to five hours during the day if needed. As a young pup, Vixen is a vigorous chewer and will need plenty of supervision indoors, as well as lots of appropriate chew toys. She’s inquisitive and energetic, but quick to snuggle when it’s time to wind down. She’s not yet very comfortable on leash or in new places, so some patient training and ongoing socialization will help her gain confidence. Vixen gets along well with other dogs and cats. Her playful spirit, combined with a cuddly side, makes her a fun and loving companion for the right home. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
