Orzo In Oh
AvailableAbout Orzo In Oh
Looking for a ridiculously handsome puppy who’s equal parts cuddle buddy and playful sidekick—Orzo is ready to fill that role! One of six pups in the “Pasta Litter,” this Great Pyrenees and Border Collie mix has been raised in a foster home with his mom and other dogs, giving him a wonderful, well-socialized start. Orzo is a big, striking boy with gorgeous markings and a face that absolutely knows it’s photogenic. He came into rescue needing a little extra TLC, but with proper care his coat is filling back in nicely—and he just keeps getting more handsome by the day. Orzo is affectionate and people-focused, happy to hang out nearby, check in for pets, and then bounce off for some fun. He’s playful, loves being held and doted on, and has a soft spot for cuddle time when things slow down. He loves kids and would thrive in a home where he can be part of everyday family life. With his Border Collie smarts and Great Pyrenees awareness, he’s already showing signs of being a bright, observant pup who picks up on routines quickly and keeps life interesting. Because Orzo takes playtime (and zoomies) seriously and will grow into a big boy, he’ll need a home with a 5-foot securely fenced yard where he can safely run, explore, and show off his joyful energy. If you’re looking for a smart, kid-loving, head-turning pup with a sweet, playful personality, Orzo is ready to be your favorite “pasta” in the family. Warning: side effects of adopting Orzo may include spontaneous smiling, constant companionship, and a house that never feels empty again. Please fill out the application on our website and we will contact you. HTTPS://NATIONALPYR.ORG/ADOPTION-APPLICATION/ Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
