Though his tenure in our household has been brief, certain truths have already revealed themselves: Firstly, this gentleman LOVES food with a devotion rarely witnessed outside of the most enthusiastic members of the ton at supper. A slow feeder bowl has been deemed absolutely essential, as Sir Benedict approaches each meal with the urgency of one who fears the kitchen may close forever. Secondly, one must guard one’s refreshments carefully. Sir Benedict possesses a most extraordinary talent for detecting the faintest hint of snack or sip. Tea, toast, biscuits, or even a humble crumb… none escape his notice. Should you choose to partake in couch snacks, be advised — sharing is not optional, merely inevitable. Lastly, it must be said that Sir Benedict has formed a most devoted attachment to his foster mama. A brief disappearance behind the mysterious door known as “the shower” was met with heartfelt whimpers of protest. Future families should be prepared for a most loyal companion… including a dedicated bathroom attendant. We shall continue to observe this charming young gentleman’s progress with great interest, as his personality — much like his appetite — appears delightfully robust. Yours most faithfully invested in the affairs of this most hungry suitor, Lady Whistledown (aka: foster mom) 3/24/26-Sir Benedict Cadbury (aka: Beeny-Boop-Snoot) is home and recovering from his neuter. He was very happy to meet, greet and charm everyone at the vets office but I think he’s even happier to be home cuddling with me. 3/22/26-Dearest Gentle Readers, It is with the most delightful anticipation that this author announces the arrival of a most eligible gentleman into society — none other than the charming and distinguished Sir Benedict Cadbury. Having only just arrived into foster care today, Sir Benedict made his entrance in a most understandable state — a touch timid, somewhat shy, yet undeniably curious about the world unfolding before him. One can hardly blame the gentleman, for travel can be most exhausting, particularly when one’s future holds such hopeful possibility. Upon arrival, Sir Benedict was treated to the comforts befitting a gentleman of quality, including a restorative bath. I am pleased to report that he now smells exceedingly delightful, much improved from the rigors of his journey. At present, Sir Benedict requires little more than warm, cozy blankets, gentle reassurance, and ample rest as he gathers his strength for tomorrow’s important appointment with the surgeon (neuter). This brief engagement shall prepare him admirably for the devoted companionship expected of the finest family dog. Following his convalescence, Sir Benedict Cadbury shall soon be available for courtship by families wishing to welcome a most deserving gentleman into their hearts and homes. Those seeking a companion of tender nature and excellent cuddle potential would be wise to express interest promptly… for eligible gentlemen of this caliber seldom remain unattached for long. Will Sir Benedict Cadbury find the forever family he so richly deserves this Season? This author suspects… love shall triumph. Yours most faithfully, Lady Whistledown (aka: foster mom) 03/22/26-Sir Benedict Cadbury is an sweet about 12 year old male puggle (pug/beagle) rescued from an overcrowded backyard breeder along with 4 other puggle & puggle terrier mix dogs.
