Hi! My name is Chicory, and I'm from Arkansas! This nugget is built like a brick, or potato, or chicory. He is solid & strong. Despite that, he doesn't throw his weight around. He's as gentle as a little bowling ball can be, but truly, he is actually surprisingly gentle, especially for a puppy. His nutty tendencies are most on display when he decides that his tiny geriatric Chihuahua foster brother is his new play buddy and/or finding items one didn't know they had misplaced (despite puppy-proofing). His sweetness shines through in his joy in nearly all things, especially playing with his Golden Retriever foster bro/bestie and investigating anything remotely resembling human food. Chic will happily share his wonderful disposition with any family lucky enough to have him. Chic may be best suited for a home with a dog/dogs more similar to his size. He doesn't display a mean bone in his body, but he does think everyone is his friend, and attempts to engage in play as such. We're working on respecting little dog boundaries. He's a smart cookie, so no doubt, he'll improve. Cats are avoided entirely (if spicy) or additional playmates, depending upon their response to him. Again, we're working on understanding boundaries. Car rides are not his fav, but he tolerates them without complaint. He wants to sit or lie down in the backseat with his head hidden from the windows.
