About Skye
Click apply to start the adoption process. Skye is a sweet and petite 5-year-old miniature dachshund mix who tips the scales at just 12-13 lbs. With her soft blue merle coat and short fur, she is already spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Skye has a diva streak when it comes to other animals, wanting to be in charge, so she is likely to thrive best as the only dog in the household, although she will play with others. Sharing toys or people isn’t her strong suit, which makes her an excellent candidate for a home where she is the center of attention. She may need an adopter who knows the breed, as she still needs some guidance with crate and potty training but is very smart and willing to learn. Skye’s favorite pastime is snuggling up on the couch and burrowing under the covers with her human. She does well with older, respectful kids but due to her delicate back and small size, a home without young children is preferred. A physically fenced yard is required to ensure her safety, and her adoption fee is $150. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
