Hershey may be the smallest of the Chocolate Litter, but this little boy is packed with sweetness. As the runt, he may be tiny, but he’s overflowing with affection and loves to be close to his people. Hershey is a true cuddle bug who happily melts into your arms and would be perfectly content being carried around or curled up in your lap. His gentle nature and loving personality make him the kind of puppy who quickly steals hearts. Hershey’s story began when his mama, a 25-lb Chiweenie mix living as a stray, chose the porch of a kind Good Samaritan as the safest place to bring her babies into the world. After they were discovered, the little family was brought to Mutts N Such Rescue where they could receive the care and support they needed to grow strong and healthy. Their dad is unknown, but one thing is certain — this little Chocolate Litter is overflowing with sweetness and personality. Hershey has been thriving ever since and is ready to find a forever home of his own. Hershey loves to play with toys, tumble around with his siblings, and explore the world one tiny step at a time. When he’s done with playtime, he’s happiest being held close or curled up for a cozy puppy nap. Like all young puppies, he will need patience, continued training, and guidance as he learns and grows. With the right family, this little nugget of sweetness will grow into a wonderful companion. He was born in January 2026 and is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
