Lucy is a very unique girl. She loves attention, but does not like strangers. She is very cuddly and affectionate with those in her circle. She will bark and nip at strangers that enter here area and is very protective of those she loves. She has never actually bit anyone here, but will grab at strangers pants. She is very leery of being picked up but we can definitely do it with slow movements. I’m not positive if it’s from past abuse or aloof personality? When she sees her people she gets super excited and happy and will dance and greet you like your her entire world. She would do best in a very low activity home, without many other pets. She completely ignores our three cats, but gets jealous of other dogs getting attention, but will try to bond with them and kiss them. She tries super hard to be obedient and will go anywhere you ask her to go. She is absolutely gorgeous with the softest coat you can imagine. Her brindle is stunning, mainly because of the Xolo I’m assuming there is not an overcoat, only the super soft undercoat. She is a good eater, loves treats and very healthy. She will go potty outside, but mainly uses potty pads currently as back up, which she is diligent in using. All in all one of the most loving and adoring dogs I have met. She does take a bit to warm up to people, but once she gets comfortable with you, she is super loyal and adoring.
