I'm a sweet older lady who absolutely loves chasing stuffed squeaky toys and giving them a good thrashing - it's one of my favorite ways to have fun! New people and unfamiliar places can make me a little unsure at first, and loud noises or fast movements might startle me, so I do best with slow, calm introductions. I'm not a fan of lots of movement right in my face and really appreciate when people respect my space and let me get comfortable at my own pace. Once I feel safe, my loving personality really comes out, especially if you offer me some good butt scratches - I'll even tap my feet to show you just how much I enjoy them! Because I can be overwhelmed by too much activity, a home without small kids would help me feel more relaxed and secure. I'd love a low-key but mildly active home that keeps me moving with gentle exercise while also understanding the needs of a senior dog. With patience, kindness, and a cozy place to call my own, I'll be a loyal companion who brings sweetness, quiet joy, and a little playful silliness into your life every day. My adoption fee of $90+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
