About Minnie
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Minnie is a 12-year-old domestic short hair with a sleek black coat, recently surrendered after the loss and hospitalization of her elderly owners. She has shown a remarkably loving disposition despite all the changes, adapting to shelter life with patience and a gentle heart. While Minnie experiences some age-related vision loss, she can still see to some extent, and her fondness for gentle conversation and pets is clear—she delights in chin rubs and head scratches, purring contentedly at your touch. Though not fond of being held, Minnie is always eager for affection, often moving to the front of her kennel and meowing softly for more attention. She’s ready to find a quiet, loving home in which to retire, where she can soak up all the affection she craves. Her adoption fee is $40. Minnie is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped. If you can offer a gentle, patient environment, Minnie is waiting for you at Clay County Humane Society.
