MINNIE is a 12 year old domestic short hair cat surrendered to CCHS on 12/30/25. One of her elderly owners passed and the other entered a hospital. Minnie is a dear heart. With recent changes in her living circumstances, Minnie has needed a little time to adjust to shelter life. It probably hasn't helped that she also has age related vision loss. Minnie can see, but we're uncertain to what degree. She loves being talked to and adores being petted. Minnie has a good purr that really ignites when her chin is rubbed or she receives head scratches. While she wasn't keen on being picked up and held, she does love being petted. And when we were finished with pictures, she came to the front of her kennel to demand more attention. Minnie rubbed on the closed door and meowed when I secured the other one. Sad to leave her, but glad to she's begun interacting with us. Hoping this sweet and friendly lady finds a gentle place to retire. Minnie's adoption fee is $40. She is spayed, current on shots, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.
