About Rocky

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Rocky, a loving 5-year-old domestic short hair Tabby who came to rescue after being found injured and alone in early 2025. Upon arrival, Rocky was healing from multiple wounds on his sides and belly, but thanks to dedicated care, his fur is filling back in and he’s blossoming into a healthy, happy cat. Rocky is a true sweetheart with a fantastic purr, always eager to greet you at his kennel door and ready for ear scritches or chin rubs—his absolute favorites! He’ll have adorable conversations with you and charms everyone with his fat, expressive cheeks. While he may be camera shy or uninterested in teaser toys, Rocky brings a loving purr-sonality to every encounter and thrives on attention from his people. Rocky is FIV positive and must be an indoor-only cat, ideally living with other FIV+ companions. His adoption fee of $70 includes his neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heartworm preventive, FIV/FeLV testing, microchip, and care at Clay County Humane Society.
