CURTAIL, 12 weeks old at intake, is a domestic short hair kitten taken in as a sick orphan on 9/30/24. At intake, we noted that she didn't have a tail, but due to incontinence issues, her rear was raw and infested with maggots, thus giving the appearance of an injury. Fortunately, Curtail's health has improved dramatically and her derriere is now healed. We've since been able to determine that she was born without a tail; it wasn't injured or cut off. While her health has improved and she's super perky, Curtail does have a special need. Since intake, we have had to express her bladder twice a day. While there's been improvement, she also still has incontinence issues with her stool. Curtail is the sweetest girl who loves attention. She's observant, engaging and sometimes talks to you. Curtail loves to play interactively and on her own. She's a vibrant, adoring kitty seeking a companion. Curtail's $70 adoption fee helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heart worm preventive, FIV/FeLV tests, microchip and care while at CCHS.
