Olive is not yet house trained and will be spayed and fully vetted prior to adoption. She is currently being fostered by East Coast Beagle Rescue Inc.

She is currently in a foster home in Kentucky, waiting to find her forever home in the northeast. All necessary vetting will be completed before she joins your family—she will be spayed, receive all required vaccinations, and be tested for heartworms. Olive gets along well with other dogs and people, making her a wonderful companion as either a solo pup or with another dog in the home. Her temperament is gentle and calm, so she should settle in beautifully. While her compatibility with cats and kids is not yet known, she thrives in social environments with her canine friends. For those new to beagles, it is important to note that they are extremely smart and have a strong instinct to follow scents. Olive must always be on a leash unless in a secure, enclosed yard, as beagles are known to roam when a scent catches their attention. It is also essential that she not be placed with rabbits due to her breed's natural prey drive.
