About Snug
Snug is a 4-month-old, 10 lb Heeler/Beagle mix who’s still adjusting to life in the city after her long trip from Tennessee. At first, she was a bit overwhelmed, but her sweet and curious nature is shining through. She warms up slowly to new experiences and people but becomes loyal once settled. Snug loves lounging on the couch, keeping an eye on things, and curling up by your side when she wants affection. Her confidence grows best in a calm, patient home—she needs space and time to blossom at her own pace. When her playful side comes out, she tears joyfully around the yard, showing off her Heeler energy, then checks back in with her people for comfort before heading out again. She’s learning routines quickly and has an expressive face that lets you know exactly how she feels. Snug gets along with dogs and peacefully coexists with cats. She’s mostly house trained, comfortable in a crate, and working on leash manners. She prefers quieter neighborhoods over busy city blocks and will do best somewhere calm. To set Snug up to be her best adult self, her new family should have experience with active breeds and commit to daily exercise, structure, and positive training. An adults-only home or a family with kids over 8 years old is required, since puppies like her can have rambunctious phases. Healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations, Snug is ready for a devoted adopter who can match her gentle spirit and growing confidence. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
