About Shiloh
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Shiloh, a sweet 1-year-old, 25-pound Beagle/Terrier mix who is searching for a peaceful home outside of the city—suburbs or more rural settings will be her comfort zone. Shiloh may be shy at first, needing a patient family to allow her to settle in and feel safe. With gentle support, she transforms into a playful, silly companion, ready to show her affectionate side. She is quite sensitive to new situations, loud noises, and especially uncomfortable around small children, so a home with adults or calm teenagers will suit her best. Shiloh is eager for a canine buddy and connects especially well with other friendly, playful dogs. She enjoys backyard play, long nature walks, and interactive toys that let her use her nose and brain—keeping her happy and balanced. She’s a very smart girl who enjoys learning and finds great comfort in fun puzzle games and snuggly downtime in her own space. Shiloh is fully potty trained and has no trouble being left home alone; her crate manners are excellent if a crate is part of her routine. While she can be cautious with new people, given a little time, she finds her confidence and quickly bonds. Shiloh is looking for an adult or teen household, ideally with another medium or small dog, where she can continue to grow in security and joy. Please note: She is not comfortable in city life and must have a home in a quieter setting. She is available through the foster-to-adopt program or traditional adoption. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
