About Fanta
Click apply to start the adoption process. Fanta is a lively and loving 1-year-old Pit Bull mix (with a hint of Vizsla) who brings boundless joy and affection to any room she enters. This goofy girl is famous for her full-body cuddles and insists that personal space is simply overrated—she’s happiest curled up on top of you or gazing out the window with curiosity. Whether she's entertaining herself with a new toy or snoozing soundly in her crate (helped along by a well-timed cookie), Fanta thrives on attention and affection. Fanta is mostly house-trained and responds eagerly to the cue “Kennel up!” Maintaining a consistent potty schedule helps set her up for success. Her social nature means she's interested in other animals but, for her happiest home, she’ll need to be your one and only furry friend—she likes all your love to herself. Fanta would do best in a home with adults or older children who can handle her enthusiastic cuddles and zest for life. She's met a baby but was quite disappointed at not being allowed to snuggle right up close! With a love of treats and a talent for ‘counter surfing,’ Fanta is highly food-motivated—chicken is her biggest weakness. She’s working diligently on her manners with commands like “Off!” and improving every day. Walks are adventures with Fanta; she’s still learning leash etiquette and gets excited by all the sights and sounds, but with treats and clicker training, she’s making great progress.
