About Ham

This could be the start of something paw-some. Clarabelle, affectionately called Ham, is a playful and squishy medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier mix whose joyful spirit and lovable personality shine. About 10 years old, Ham came to City of Elderly Love after a rough start but has completely transformed since then. She's now a happily recovered, spunky senior who enjoys zoomies around the house and yard just as much as snuggling beneath a heated blanket. Ham is always ready to meet new people and has shown herself to be a lively, social companion. While she’s not lived directly with children, she would likely thrive in a home with older kids who delight in her silly antics. Ham prefers being the center of attention and would be happiest as the only animal in her home. She's living on a hobby farm with other animals in foster care but finds sharing her space with dogs or smaller pets challenging. Her ideal forever home would be in a calmer setting outside the busy city, where she can sunbathe in her own yard and enjoy leisurely strolls. Ham has mild arthritis from an old knee injury and benefits from a joint supplement, and like many pitties, she does well with allergy care. Recently, she had dental work and some masses removed, and now she's feeling better than ever. Ham is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and completely house-trained. She’s ready to bring endless laughs, cuddles, and love to the next lucky family she calls her own. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
