About Bacon
Bacon first landed in rescue from ACCT Philly back in January, and nobody’s forgotten him since. After completing a full board and train program, he’s packed with skills and more than ready for a new home—but somehow, not a single foster or adopter has stepped up yet. Bacon is a young, energetic Pit Bull Terrier who thrives on structure and is eager to please. He soaks up training, bonds closely to his person, and has a lot to give for someone who can offer him clear routines and guidance. He’s best suited as the only dog in an adult-only home, with no cats or kids. Bacon needs someone who can match his energy and provide healthy outlets, like walks, play, or a secure yard. Even after all he's been through, Bacon loves people deeply—he just hasn’t caught his break. Training support continues for whoever takes him in, so he’s set up right. Bacon is house trained, neutered, and current on his vaccinations. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Bacon
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pit Bull Terriers like Bacon do well in homes where they are an integrated part of the family, especially those that offer routine, clear boundaries, and patient training. Apartments or houses both work as long as he gets enough exercise and attention.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Bacon would benefit from regular outdoor time in a yard or through daily walks, though a fenced yard isn’t strictly necessary if he gets consistent exercise. Pit Bull Terriers are energetic and active, so they appreciate space to play.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While many Pit Bull Terriers can do well with kids, Bacon’s profile specifies he’d be happiest in an adult-only home. He really needs an environment without children for everyone’s comfort and safety.
