About Pickles
Pickles is a six-year-old pit bull mix in Philadelphia, PA who defines loyalty and affection. At 66 lbs, he’s housebroken, rides calmly in cars, and wants nothing more than to be near his people, soaking up attention. Crates aren’t for him—he feels best included in the action. Pickles’ energy level shifts between low and medium; he loves his walks, though he sometimes pulls. A harness works well, and a secure fence is a must since he’s known to be a bit of an escape artist. He does well with bigger, easygoing dogs (he can be a bit much for smaller or nervous dogs, and proper intros are important), and he’s lived with cats without issue. He loves kids, but since he’s excitable and can jump, a home with children 8 or 9 and up is best. Pickles’ favorite thing is to cuddle—he’s a huge softie at heart. Although he does have some ongoing hip issues, he responds well to supplements and still enjoys running and playing. Currently fostered in Levittown, PA. Ready to meet your new best friend?
